Sceawere legal

Cookie Policy

Sceawere uses a small set of cookies and browser-storage entries for sign-in, security, consent, and optional interface preferences.

Last updated July 24, 2026

What this policy covers

Cookies are small values a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, including local storage, can also save or retrieve information on your device. This policy covers both.

Sceawere does not currently use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site behavioural profiling.

Storage categories

  • Essential: required for sign-in, account security, service requests, and remembering your consent choice. This storage cannot be switched off through the consent panel because the related features cannot operate reliably without it.
  • Preferences: remembers interface choices such as theme and sidebar state. Sceawere does not read or write these preference entries until you allow them.

Authentication services may use more than one short-lived or persistent cookie to establish and refresh a secure session. Exact names and lifetimes can vary by browser and account-security configuration.

Third-party services

Sceawere uses service providers for account authentication, infrastructure, and, where relevant, payment processing. A provider may set essential cookies when you sign in, access account features, or open its payment page. Those providers process data under their own privacy notices and contractual obligations.

Browser controls

You can delete or block cookies and local storage through your browser. Blocking essential authentication storage may prevent sign-in and other account features from working. Clearing browser data also removes your consent record, so the consent panel may appear again.

Changes to storage

If we introduce analytics, advertising, or another optional category, we will update this policy and ask for the relevant consent before enabling that storage. We may also ask you to choose again when the purpose of existing storage changes materially.
